Exercise Cobra Gold do I even know what that is? Nope not a chance. I do know that Jordan is lucky enough to be apart of this exercise. I know that it means communication is cut off until possibly April. I just saw some pictures that someone took that is on this same exercise. They were of monkeys, the zoo, and Buddhist statues. Please tell me they are just doing some sight seeing before they get to work and that this is not another pointless "training exercise". At least the title makes it sound official.
On the bright side I am 1/3 of the way through this deployment. Also, I really am so grateful for those men and women who serve our country. It most definitely is a sacrifice not everyone can make.
